Sterilization records, cycle by cycle.

Start a cycle on the phone at the autoclave and count what went in. End it with the biological, chemical and Bowie-Dick (Bow) results. The record an IPAC inspection reads is kept as the work is done.

Starting cycle 1 on the phone: what is in this load, and two exam kits, one restorative kit and two hygiene kits counted.
Ending the cycle on the phone: the chemical strip marked Passed, with a photograph of it.
Starting a cycle and ending it, on the phone, in the demo clinic.

Sterilization records

What it does.

  • What went in

Every kit counted with minus and plus. Four is four pouches.

  • Every test with its result

The biological with its lot and expiry, the chemical strip, and the Bow test where the clinic runs one.

  • Qualified, or not yet

A new machine needs three biological passes in a row, and DentFlow says so until it has them.

  • The record, kept

Every cycle and every test in one place. A correction goes behind a PIN.
